THE REPAIR LIST DOESN’T HAVE TO FIT ONE CATEGORY

Most homes have a mix of things that need attention: a door that won’t latch, damaged drywall, loose trim, a worn deck, or a room that needs painting. You shouldn’t have to figure out which company to call for each item. Tell us what’s going on, and we’ll help you sort out what TTP Handymen can take on.

START WITH A CONVERSATION AND A CLEAR PLAN.

For many jobs, you can send us photos and talk through the work by phone. We can often give you a price range before scheduling, then confirm the scope and price when we see the job in person. If the project needs a closer look first, we’ll arrange a walkthrough estimate. Either way, you can ask questions and decide what work you want done.

OUR HANDYMAN SERVICES

WHAT WE DO

Remodels, Home Repairs, Odds & Ends

From a loose fence gate to a full room remodel, these are the services we are called out for most across Vancouver, WA and the surrounding Clark County communities.

Gutter installed along a gray shingled roof edge with a white downspout on a grassy background

Gutter Cleaning

Douglas fir needles pack tighter than leaves and pass straight through most guards. We clear troughs and downspouts by hand, flush the runs, and check that water actually leaves the system instead of spilling behind the fascia board.

Outdoor concrete stairs beside a stone wall and black railing, leading up through a wooded area

Pressure Washing

Siding, driveways, walkways, patios, and fences come back from years of green film and black streaks. We match pressure and detergent to the surface, keeping fiber cement and painted siding well under the limits that strip finish.

Hands applying caulk with a caulking gun along the seam of a white bathtub and tiled wall

Caulking

Doors and windows account for roughly a fifth of the air leaking out of a typical house. We cut out failed beads, prep the joint, and lay sealant rated for where it lives, wet shower corner or exposed siding.

Wooden front door with frosted glass panels in a beige entryway

Doors

Interior, exterior, closet, and patio doors get repaired, rehung, or replaced outright. Sticking, dragging, and latching problems usually trace back to a hinge or a jamb rather than the door itself, and that is a far cheaper fix.

Wooden deck boards with warm brown planks arranged in long parallel lines

Decking

Rot starts where the ledger meets the house and where posts touch grade. We replace boards, joists, posts, and railings, then finish with a stain applied inside the temperature and dryness window it actually needs.

Hand connecting a flexible silver dryer vent hose to a metal wall duct.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Failure to clean is the leading cause of residential dryer fires. We clear the full duct run, check the length against code limits, and confirm the exterior damper opens freely and is not screened over.

WHAT VANCOUVER HOMEOWNERS SAY

TTP HANDYMEN LLC REVIEWS.

Our 5 star rating was not built on one big project. It was built on showing up when we said we would, quoting honestly, and finishing the small stuff other people would not bother driving out for. Read what homeowners across Vancouver and Clark County have said about working with us.

service areas

SERVING VANCOUVER AND THE LOWER COLUMBIA.

We proudly serve customers throughout Clark and Cowlitz Counties, including Vancouver, Battle Ground, Camas, Washougal, Ridgefield, La Center, Woodland, Kalama, Kelso, and Longview. Our team regularly works across both counties, from established neighborhoods near downtown areas to newer subdivisions throughout the region.

Housing stock changes a lot across that map. A 1940s bungalow off Main Street and a 2015 build in Felida can fail in completely different ways. Understanding those differences allows us to provide accurate quotes based on the specific needs of your home rather than guessing..

Common Questions

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Homeowners ask us the same practical questions before booking, so here are straight answers on scope, scheduling, preparation, and what a handyman can and cannot take on in Washington.

  • What is the difference between a handyman and a general contractor?

A handyman handles repairs, maintenance, installations, and finish work across many trades. A general contractor takes on larger structural projects and manages licensed subcontractors under a single contract. Plenty of jobs sit in between, and we handle both sides.

  • Can you take care of several small jobs in one visit?

Yes, and that is usually the smartest way to book us. Bundling a door adjustment, a drywall patch, a TV mount, and a leaking gutter into one scheduled visit costs far less in travel time than four separate appointments.

  • Can a licensed general contractor do electrical or plumbing work?

No, Washinton requires a licensed electrician or plumber. Can sub contract that work out though

  • How do I know whether my project needs a permit?

Adding or removing walls, converting a garage, basement, or attic into living space, and structural alterations all require a residential building permit in Vancouver. Fences under 6 feet and decks under 18 inches above grade generally do not.

  • What home maintenance should be done before the rainy season?

Clear gutters and downspouts, check exterior caulk joints, look at grade and mulch against siding, treat roof moss, and clean dryer vents. Doing that work in the dry September window is far easier than in December rain.

  • Do you stand behind your work?

We stand behind our workmanship for one year after the job is completed. If you notice a problem caused by our work during that time, let us know. We'll inspect it and make it right.
